Ivanhoe Amateurs congratulates four of our finest on playing their 50th games for the club.
Gerrard Williams and Adam Pipakis played their 50th games in Round 4, while Fonda Kyriakos and Aaron Marks recorded their milestone games in Round 5.
Former Ivanhoe Junior Gerrard and Fonda played in Ivanhoe’s Under 19s together in 2018 – Fonda winning the Under’s 19s B&F.
They have been regular seniors teammates since 2019. ‘Gezza’ Williams has developed into a solid and mobile ruckman with a great leap who gives onballers like Fonda a consistent advantage at the stoppages.
It’s been a longer journey for Aaron, who began with the club in 2017 and has had injury setbacks, and ‘Pippa’, who was playing in 2015 when the Hoers reserves won the D2 premiership.
Both have found consistency after settling into their roles as senior D2 players last year.
Well done, and keep it going you fab four Hoers!
