Ivanhoe’s reserves B&F is named after the club’s second longest-serving player.

If we had a Team of the Century for work ethic, he would be captain.

Colin played 306 games for the club – mostly in the reserves.

He was also reserves coach in 2001 when they made the D1 finals.

His determination to get the best out of his game and his sheer willpower to keep motoring – long after other more talented teammates have hung up the boots – sets him apart as a shining example of what the amateur ethos is all about, “Playing for the love of the game”.

He is a life member, 2013 Harry Award recipient, and Hall of Fame member, and continues to serve on committee as well as forward scout.
