Curly Ellis
Curly Ellis (1939) Lined up in the back pocket against SA at Norwood Oval on July 29, 1939. Ellis tore a ligament in the opening minutes of the game, which was won by the Vics 15.16 (106) to SAAFL 10.17 (77). Ron Moore (1939, 1947) Moore was rover in the VAFA team that defeated the SAAFL at Norwood Oval on July 29, 1939. The Vics 15.16 (106) defeated SAAFL 10.17 (77). He also played for the Vics against the SAAFL at Adelaide Oval in 1947. VAFA 11.14 lost to SAAFL 18.16. Sources: The Argus, Amateur Footballer.
